I was just lamenting last night that there's an entire generation of creators that we're losing because they don't have long enough on a show to learn the ropes.
‘Regular Show’ creator J.G. Quintel says the entertainment industry feels so “truncated and short” now:

If someone could get 8 million people to watch their content, why in the world would they need to make any kind of deal with you?

In the last few weeks I've spoken to two executives at a major streamer - one in adult animation, one in preschool content for both animation and live action - and both basically told me the same thing: they're looking for YouTube success stories with huge subscriber bases. 🧵
