The easy thing would have been to say, “my presence would have been a distraction due to the security required, etc.” But Trump can only imagine himself as a value-add to any party. Especially as the DJ!

One of the joys of the streaming era is that this stuff can remain accessible in perpetuity if the streaming powers that be deem it worthy. New generations can easily “discover” something like this that wouldn’t have had a second life in syndication.

For my family growing up, it meant no red meat on Fridays. Lots of tuna casserole which, despite my vegetarianism, still sounds kind of delicious. 😋
