John Woo’s HEROES SHED NO TEARS is relentless i respect it but also feels a bit meaner than Woo’s other movies. His other movies have lots of guys gettin lit the fuck up too but there was some solid gore in this too, some guys get right fucked up

Watching Laputa 100 times with kids made me reaize even more how Rockman DASH is just super inspired by it. All the elements are there it’s pretty crazy. Rock and Pazu even have the same voice actress Mayumi Tanaka!
And as such my kids and I are now playing DASH

this will reach 3 people maybe but my kids love Laputa: Castle in the Sky and they watch in JPN no subs cuz they cool but one small thing I like that isn't caught in translation is the dumb FBI man says "Laputa is there in the cloud" but he said "Laputa ga iru" which is kinda a big point

Had a work workshop that spoke of “code-switching” and while I identify fully as Ts’msyen I am still really half-and-half, and the term reminded me how in High School I thought I was cool identifying with Blade as “daywalker” but goin between Native world and White world instead.

I been seeing "dad movie" show up alot lately for a type of genre and I remember making that term up in regards to specifically Tombstone and The Untouchables; this isn't me saying I started the term as that is crazy cuz I have no reach, but it's spooky how I started seeing it after uttering it lol
