I used to work in a building that scored like 26/27 for asbestos.
But that toxic crap was damn good at its job, best temperature controlled building I’ve ever been in, with no air conditioning and minimal heating.
We should probably try and invent a material that does that without killing us.

Air conditioning is unapologetically a good thing because it helps people not die.
And one good thing about air conditioning is that it largely needs to run during the day when solar power is at its maximum: it can and should align with clean energy goals.

I hate it, it’s terrible.
I have never before even noticed a significant difference between iOS versions but this one has just busted a bunch of stuff that used to just work seamlessly.

In case anyone is wondering how the NHS is going, I recently had to call an ambulance for a lady who collapsed is the street.
The operator’s response was: No. There are no ambulances, lack of capacity
I didn’t know they could DO that. Say there might be a 2 hour wait maybe, but just a flat “No”?!

Why would you change something that has be standard in every version I’ve ever used?
Having made this bizarre decision why would you then provide the ability to put it back, but hide it under 3 submenus?

So I just discovered Windows 11 doesn’t let you see the seconds on the clock.
Apparently there was an option to turn this on, but an update removed it.
This is AGGRESSIVELY stupid, what possible reason could there be to disable the just about the most basic functionality imaginable.
