Most sane white people would never accept ethnic cleansing, because they know where it leads. Peaceful ethnic cleansing softens the message, and boils the frog slowly. But even the term peaceful ethnic cleansing was off-putting so they stopped saying it. Until this administration, most people (including me) dismissed peaceful ethnic cleansing as a delusional racist's pipe dream. It would never happen, because the policies are so extreme. Most Republican Senators think this plan is crazy. But almost all of them are spineless, and so will confirm Jeff Sessions, the architect of these policies. Here are some of the policies: * Consolidate power from the 3 branches of government under the Executive, to make the rest of the policies possible. * End all non-white refugee and asylum programs * Stop legal immigration from Muslim countries, especially Iran * Stop legal immigration from Latinx countries, especially Mexico * Stop legal immigration from Asian countries, especially China and India * Make H1B visas harder to acquire from non-white countries Screenshot of FB Post: * Make H1B visas harder to acquire from non-white countries * Increase the reasons for revoking permanent residence (Green cards) for non-white people. * Increase the reasons for deporting non-white undocumented people * Dismantle the Voting Rights Act, and Federal election oversight * Criminalize assisting black voters * De-criminalize white on non-white hate crimes * Increase the reasons for imprisoning non-white people (criminalize protest, make resisting arrest a hate crime) * increase the detention capacity of ICE and the prison system to hold an additional 11 - 20 million people At this point you will have a few million people in detention centers and prisons. Most of these people will be undeportable... Black, Latinx, Middle Eastern, Asian, but US citizens. What to do with these people? Everyone seems to forget that the Holocaust started out as "peaceful" ethnic cleansing as well. All ethnic cleansing campaigns turn violent at some point. He looks moderate enough to Democrats on women's rights issues, but he supports this plan. Most importantly, the last Attorney General resisted this plan and was fired. The incoming Attorney General designed it. There isn't complete agreement among Nazis on this plan. Example open questions: * Are Jews OK? In 1841 Mary Richardson married John Jones of North Carolina. They carried free papers when they settled in Chicago & Mr. Jones established a successful tailoring business. Active in abolitionist politics & voting rights campaigns, they hosted & dressed John Brown & crew en route to Harper’s Ferry.

What made John Brown a great man was not actually that he was a "great" man. It was that he recognized himself as a regular man that rejected white supremacy.

And was willing to die for that.

That when he saw another Black face, he saw a human like himself.
