Moving away from cozy to more hardcore business sim, because its more the type of game I like to play.
For example, what affects how many guests of each type book is determined by a demand funnel, not just a random number. After unlocking marketing, the player can see the numbers #indiegame #gamedev

I change the name of my game from Sunberry Island to Campsite Architect. It fits the game much better. Steam support was quick and helpful to update my page. Luckely (almost) nobody knows about my existence, so noone noticed :)

Probably the single best feature of the game is the queues in the shower block early morning. The guy in back, with his thumbs-up-thought-bubble really makes the scene complete 🙂 #indiegame #gamedev

No trees were harmed during testing the limits of the park 🙂 Poor guy renting a cabin on the other side of the park, after checking in he ran all the way to his cabin realizing he wants a snack from the shop in the camp office, spend the whole day running around and next morning he checked out.

I was recording construction sound effects. I know there are websites where I could get these sound effects for free, but recording them yourself feels more rewarding and adds authenticity to the game - what do you think? #gamedev

Already funny stories are created on Sunberry Island, which is a good sign:
The owner (basil), behind the reception desk, needed a toilet urgently, but there was no sanitary building, so I built one, and I let him go to the toilet. You can see the relief on his face.

Added some shaders for rain, smoke, lights to my game, it instantly gives it this cozy feel. Guests react on weather, leaving the campfire and running for their tents, campfire actually goes out in the rain after a while. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPO3...
