Hello! Still time to start Inktober today — my favourite time of the year! 🙌

This week in my comic-making adventures:

🖋️ My fountain pen died. I panicked. I performed surgery. It survived.
📚 I discovered some manga wisdom and re-inked a page.
💥 English onomatopoeias ≠ Spanish onomatopeyas

Making comics is going great. 😂

Colour test! 🎨

I’m experimenting with how I want colour to work in the comic, and trying out an earthy palette for this page.

I’ve shared the first test — and a bit about the thinking behind it — over on Patreon. It’s free, come have a look! ❤️

I can’t wait to watch Godzilla Minus Zero in IMAX. So hyped! 🦖🔥

Dlala’s latest project, Murals, was announced at Gamescom this week! 🎮
I’m incredibly happy to be part of the team working on this project, and even prouder to be doing it at such a brilliant company💙
Excited to share more soon!

I’ve started a Patreon for the comic I’ve been working on!⚔️

Dertas is a fantasy adventure about Bruce, a dog who returns home years after monsters drove him away as a child.

I’ll be using Patreon as a diary of sorts, come tag along!

My book turns five this year! Kadath Express - Travelogue: 270 pages, 120+ ink illustrations. As Lazlo Kodak, you board a strange train and pick where it takes you. There are more copies left than I’d like to admit, but I am immensely proud of the ones that ended in someone’s library.
