Also, I think they’re going to want us to take the characters “seriously” for these last few eps, when we haven’t been able to take anything seriously up until.

IDK. I think nearly everyone believed that S3 was the weakest. Hopefully TPTB thought so too. We’ll see this evening.

The DS9 music during the end credits was a nice touch.
As far as cringey comedy, I get what you’re saying, but I think it’s there to show that the show is trying to not take itself too seriously. (Yes it could be done better.) Disco was way too serious.
