Here’s a shot of the finished piece by the way! I’m really proud of how it came out it although I’m sad the frame’s glass makes it hard for the camera to pick up the iridescence in some of the paint. I’m very happy with the frame though! My wife found it second hand and it’s a local made frame! #art

Went to the local art store for the first time in a hot while and it was such a good move. Not only did I get some supplies I’ve looked at for ages but I found out they do open call art shows through the year!
February’s show theme is “everyday magic”, and I think I’m gonna use colored pencils.
