Just a woman enjoying the simple things in life. ☕️🌿 I love good coffee, long walks, little weekend adventures, and conversations that actually mean something. Trying to slow down, appreciate the good moments, and keep learning along the way. ✨

Sen. Thom Tillis privately told Trump he wouldn’t tolerate his “bullshit” — and that if Trump had ever directly threatened him with a primary challenge, he’d have “immediately told you to fuck yourself” and announced his retirement.

The texts, obtained by Playbook, will appear in his upcoming book.

How Does Anesthesia Really Work?
Where did Anesthesia Originate? We all know that when someone has to get any sort of operation done, it usually involves surgery. To make the process of surgery painless for the patient, doctors administer anesthesia. This is a normal thing for us but have you ever questioned what they did before anesthesia was invented? Whenever someone needed an operation it would be torturous not only for the patient, but for the doctor as well.

In many red states, it's simply a question of whether you can get Trump's endorsement. So we wind up with idiots like Eric Schmitt, Tuberville and Darline Graham, if she wins

I mean, Georgia Republicans nominated Herschel Walker because Trump told them to, for G-d's sake. And he almost beat Ossoff
Eric Schmitt is what happens when a state becomes so red that you don’t need to be a talented politician to become a US Senator. And to be fair, there are examples of this in blue states too. Iron sharpens iron.

I hope this headline haunts Eric Schmitt for the rest of his pathetic political career.

People handle tasks so complex and with so many shifting variables as part of our day-to-day existence that the complexity is underestimated. It’s like how knitting machines have existed for over 400 years but there still isn’t a machine that can crochet, though we think of those tasks as comparable
Planning dinner is, for many many many people, about what they have on hand, what they can afford, how work schedules change day-to-day, kids’ complicated schedules, individual preferences. The idea that this just a series of tasks is a huge cultural blindspot — which was my original point.

There is something tragically fitting about Putin bombing the National Academy of Sciences
More terrorist attacks from terrorist Russia as they bomb a hospital in Kyiv and the Science Academy

Every single day Russia carries out mass terrorist attacks across Ukraine

Last night was the 13th anniversary of the day that the Giant Rubber Duck arrived in #Pittsburgh, and honestly it was one of my favorite nights of photography. This was the only night that it wasn't parked by the fountain at the Point, creating some unique and fun images.

Let's see the essays. Make them public. Let us read these scrawled golden tickets offered up by Cornell administrators to allow rapists to continue on with their lives unscathed. Was there a required word count? Did any of them use AI to write their "sorry for raping you" pieces?

Let us read them.
