Just finished watching #sherlockjr on #tcm - I’ll put the chase scene in it up against any other, including in #thefrenchconnection. Happy to have discovered the genius of #busterkeaton late in my life. I can’t think of anyone directing now who can mix comedy with thrills today the way he did.

I’m of a certain age that I happily recall #CBSRadioNews being a constant on the AM dial in my dad’s pickup truck when he played #KMOX in St Louis, at the top of each hour and half-hour. Thanks Bari Weiss & the Ellisons for the continued shittification of American media and our quality of life!

Lots of TX GOP political ads during commercial breaks so I’ll probably have nightmares. I was a caddie for couple of years before high school so golf bug bit me early!
I can’t believe Catherine O’Hara has passed. I loved her and her art. She will be forever my Lola Heatherton. Her sketch with Andrea Martin as Lola and Mother Theresa on SCTV is priceless. I know she’ll always be for younger folks Kevin’s mom or the matriarch on Schitt’s Creek. This is so sad.

The older I get, the less #punkrock and more #progrock I feel. Case in point - listening to Selling England by the Pound right now - reminded how great Banks/Gabriel/Hackett/Rutherford/Collins band was. I’ll put on some Replacements after my nap but I put #Genesis up against #pinkfloyd any time.
