Anyway. Data politics are the cataclysmic danger. AI is mostly just a mid tech attached to a speculative finance scheme. Anything it can make dangerous is already dangerous enough to kill us.

Actually, idea: @carlquintanilla.bsky.social next time you have one of these guys on CNBC who says stuff like this, can you ask them to... be specific? Like how? How is AI going to "Destroy humanity?" I want to know details. I legit only trust you to do have these guys on your show and ask them.

Democratic leadership has been trying to go back to the Clinton era when they should’ve been building on the Obama coalition. Socially, culturally, demographically, and politically, we, as a society, are not who we were in the Clinton era. Leadership has to move forward. bsky.app/profile/jlee...
My belief is that republicans freaked out when Obama was elected because his election was the first one that they couldn't prevent.
Obama got LESS of the white vote in 2012 and STILL won.
Dems don't need a majority of the white vote to win nationally, so they should stop chasing it so much.

This is why I want folks to stop announcing how white folks voted every November. This is the norm, and we can win without the majority of white voters.
