Beauty is more than just an outward expression; it is the confidence and strength that come from within. When we learn to appreciate and embrace who we truly are, every unique moment becomes a beautiful memory worth capturing.

Hate to break it to you, but a child living in poverty does, in fact, deserve a birthday cake.
If it was bought with SNAP, fine. It does not hurt you in any way, shape, or form and you should not be upset that something as small as a damn cake brought a smile to that child's face.
Have compassion.

MLB owners say they need a salary cap, which will hold payrolls down, leaving more money for them.

A team about to finish under .500 for the 11th consecutive season and that hasn’t won a postseason game since 2009 is going to be sold for $4B.

Nobody cries poverty like ultra-rich white men.

There’s no legitimate purpose for ICE to have this information.

There are a ton of nefarious ones, though.

The president has NO authority to make lists of voters & tell the Postal Service who gets a ballot

That power belongs to Congress & to the states, which have passed no such law. @campaignlegal.org & @democracydefendersfund.org are in court to put and end to these shenanigans

-Ensured musicians she worked with got union benefits
-Helped fund medical research, including the COVID vaccine
-Donated millions to communities hit by natural disasters

Philanthropist, humanitarian, defender of diversity & fierce advocate for the working class, she helped fund the Moderna Covid vaccine & donated 332+ million books to children. Thank you, Dolly. We will always love you.♥️

That sounds like a pretty positive development. If these affordable housing units actually get built and help more working families find a place they can afford and feel secure in, that’s much more meaningful than simply putting up signs.
Coming soon to a location near you!

You should see these signs popping up all over NYC — including at the future site of Malcolm Shabazz Harlem Plaza, where 123 affordable homes are already under construction.

I agree. What really matters is what practical problems AI can actually solve, rather than constantly selling us some utopian vision of the future. If technology only makes us work faster and puts more pressure on people, then what’s the point of all that promised “free time”?
The AI industry’s marketing has infuriated me since day one. “Everyone will have an AI assistant.” “Money won’t exist anymore.” “You’ll all have more free time!” It’s ludicrous and fantastical. They don’t believe it. I don’t believe it. I don’t think most people believe it. What are we doing here?
