The American Quilter’s Society allegedly refused to show two quilts in an exhibition after claiming they could be controversial. One work could be interpreted as depicting female anatomy, the other references abortion.
Is Female Anatomy Too "Controversial" for the American Quilter's Society?
The organization is also accused of trying to remove an abstract quilt referencing abortion access from a traveling exhibition, according to the artists.

I generally post about morning walks with my pooch, inspirations and art making. I’m currently recovering from a knee replacement revision nearly 3 mos ago…with hopes of more art-making & travel on the horizon. Living life one day at a time… what a concept!
