Hurricane Beryl took the top floor of our museum in 2024. We're rebuilding it to withstand a Category 4–5 storm, with solar power, rainwater catchment, and shelter for the community.

Carriacou supplied about a quarter of the cotton for the Strutt mills in Belper, England. Our Executive Director, Majella Mark, spoke to the BBC about that history and what we're building now.

The Windward Jetty in Carriacou is open again.

Our board member, Terrance McLawrence, spoke about the history of Windward, a village that has been building, launching, and sailing boats for generations. Board member Anderson Matheson and his band played for the community.

The head of rebuilding efforts @majellamark.bsky.social had a great meeting with CER www.culturalemergency.org, who is now collaborating with the museum to have the first stabilization steps for the museum's building completed within the year.
