Hiking on map section M11 of the #FingerLakesTrail between Sand Pit and Cochrane Rds. This map section is mostly road walk, but there's still pretty things to take pictures of!

8/22/26 - Roland Orzabal's birthday, and a great day for a hike on #FingerLakesTrail map section M14! I came back to hike a reroute between Van Zandt Hollow and Upper Dam Rds. that was completed since I finished this map section two years ago. Now at 47 miles of my #FLT50 - almost there!

8/22/26 - Roland Orzabal's birthday, and a great day for a hike on #FingerLakesTrail map section M14! I came back to hike a reroute between Van Zandt Hollow and Upper Dam Rds. that was completed since I finished this map section two years ago. Now at 47 miles of my #FLT50 - almost there!
Tears For Fears' Roland's birthday is tomorrow, but we celebrated with cake at work today! Normally I wear my Retro Roland outfit on his birthday, but as we can wear band tees on Fridays, I wore one with his picture on it! Hoping he has fun celebrating tomorrow and a happy year (and more!) ahead. ❤️

Tears For Fears' Roland's birthday is tomorrow, but we celebrated with cake at work today! Normally I wear my Retro Roland outfit on his birthday, but as we can wear band tees on Fridays, I wore one with his picture on it! Hoping he has fun celebrating tomorrow and a happy year (and more!) ahead. ❤️
When I went to Sunflower Spectacular at Wickham Farms near Rochester several years ago, I wasn't a big Tears For Fears fan like I am now. I've been wanting to go back with all my TFF gear on, so today was the day!

I'm "Back in the City" this #TFFTuesday! I had this release on CD, and decided to pre-order it on vinyl because it was advertised as clear vinyl. By the time it was released and I got it, it was black vinyl. I think that things changed in production. I didn't feel like sending it back, so I kept it.

I was in the cheap seats, but The Guess Who concert last night was FANTASTIC! I have new appreciation for what a MONSTER keyboard player Burton Cummings is, and even though he and Randy Bachman sit for most or all of the show, they rock out as hard as any band that stands! They played BTO songs too.

Back to hike the #FingerLakesTrail in Goundry Hill State Forest, this time from Sexton Hollow/Monterey Rd. to Corbett Hollow Rd. This area was hit hard by storms two years ago, and trail volunteers have done a great job clearing and rerouting the trail.

After returning from the Adirondacks, we stopped over in Clayton in the Thousand Islands. We watched boats and ships from our beautiful hotel and the sunset from the town pavilion. We played a game of mini-golf before going home.

My sister "collects" Thomas Dambo troll sculptures by visiting them wherever they're located. We made a family vacation out of seeing a temporary exhibit of six of them at The Wild Center in Tupper Lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Check the next post for our next stop!

It was three years tonight that I went to my first Tears for Fears show in Canandaigua, New York! To mark the occasion this year, I bought myself a Sowing the Seeds of Love mini-CD single in a sunflower box! I was also thrilled to evolve this Pokemon in Pokemon Go on my Tearsiversary Eve! 🌻
