Probably a metaphor or something

A View to a Kill did not hold up to my 20 years prior recollections. 10/10 for style and Grace Jones, 2/10 for plot and substance.

This fucking film is why I thought they made microchips in the us till my early 20s. I’m quite stupid you see.

I forgot trans visibility day. So here’s me wearing the very trans level 20 clothes yesterday in Zwift.

Last year was an absolute shit show, including broken bones, concussions, and major surgeries.

Today I passed 1000km of cycling since January. (146 outside so far, I live in Norway let’s not go crazy)

I’m very happy about managing to turn around what was feeling like a steady decline in health.

Have this weird feeling that someone over at YouTube is panicking about all the algorithm discussions and turned the “authentic stuff you want to see” option back on. It’s jarring to see even a few queer and poc channels in my recommendations unbidden. I’ll enjoy, and subscribe, while it lasts.

It’s a relic of being a loft conversion, it takes up space, it’s kind of annoying to work around actually. But in 10 years of living in this apartment it’s still my favourite aesthetic “thing”.

At least one newspaper should headline with “FIFA peace prize winner launches attack on Iran”. Please!

New carbon wheels will definitely give my Zwift performance a boost.

Watching Babylon 5 over the holidays for first time since it aired. S1 is basically skippable aside from a few episodes that set some not super important things up, and pretty cringe. S2 is solid but still a lot of filler. S3 is, aside from pacing, bloody epic. Just starting S4 now.

My favourite shot of the year. Taken at half past midnight as the sun begins to rise in Vardø on one of the last days of midnight sun on mainland Norway. Leica M11, Elmarit 28mm. No post processing.

I was telling a friend last week that I thought China might go for Taiwan in like 5 years if global situation continues to develop how it has. I’m probably wrong. I hope.

Oh hey! The train that delivers the spices for my neuro finally arrived. Or I just bought a train set.

Brain is sad, move a train about a bit. It’s as easy as that.

Can a large contingent of trans men please turn up for Labour’s Women’s Conference? The absurdity of this ruling in practice needs to be made clear.

My opinion that the first snow of the year is pretty will last right up until I have to go outside in that bullshit.

It’s very satisfying to do physical things. Especially when it’s a slight leap into the unknown, making my guitar more my own (and way gayer) by changing the pick guard isn’t hard but I’ve never done it before so I learned some things. Learning is always a good time.

My mini stack of shame, dating back to 2022 when my first round of burnout happened. At least I stopped buying records for a the most part. It could have been a lot bigger.

Now I have 6 weeks of sick leave to catch up in.

Listening to @emilyharpist.bsky.social Stone. A good way to start 6 weeks of surgery recovery is to relax.
