I'm preaching to the choir here, but Nvidia's DLSS5 is terrible. It feels like it's saying "Hey, do you just hate the fact that this piece of art has an... ART STYLE😱! Now with DLSS5, you can completely remove it and make everything look 'real'"

It isn't just, it's AI, it looks like shit. It's the removal of artistic intent in favor of what is a widely accepted style, making what you worked on look like everything else. I just, fear for a future where art does not stand out anymore and it's impossible to connect to anything. Dystopian.

this is annoying of me to post, but i really was dead scared about this climate reality in like 1997. people are surprised that the earth's habitability could break down within a human lifespan but the science was mostly all there 30 years ago and available to anyone willing to reckon with it
