I’m still not sold on 40K 11th edition. I had my first actually fun game tonight but…. This is 10000% a competitive play focused edition of the game to the detriment to thematic immersion.

First game of 11th edition: Got my ass handed to me.
Couple of observations:
- The charge rules are needlessly complicated.
- New terrain rules are much better than 10th but take some getting used to.
- Black Templars need buffing! (Deffo nothing to do with me being a so-so player)

John Blanche had a massive impact on everyone who has picked up a miniature wether they know it or not. There won’t be another like him. He was a true legend.

Had a cracking game against some Imperial Knights tonight. Went down to the wire but I just managed to hold out and win the game.

This popped up in my memories today. Man, X-Wing 1st Edition was such a good game. Such a shame 2nd edition crashed and burned worse than Porkins in the Battle of Yavin.

Getting back into the swing of things by speed painting some 3D prints for D&D. Managed to get two done and two about 50% there.
Avoiding doing a highlight pass for now. Just wanting to get as many “battle ready” as possible.
