Back in Oct 2025, I had an incidental finding of suspiciously large polyps in my gallbladder. Given various other factors, it posed a heightened risk for malignancy further down the line, so I had to have that removed in July 2026.

Oh no I have Facebook acquaintances making Facebook profiles for their infant child. At least they're including "I do not give Meta permissions" in their bio - surely that will deter any nefarious use!

Maybe this final final final boss in Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't a 5min unskippable cutscene before each and every retry.

Learned through a friend of a colleague that AI is being used for order processing and verification for oncology (chemotherapy), thus worried about upcoming layoffs. Said friend told my colleague "well at least our partners are in the tech industry, so we should be safe [financially]."

Sometimes I feel like the default 15min idle timer that most of my work-related sites/programs have to force auto-log out is just spent hopping between various sites/programs to try and reset said idle timer to prevent getting auto-logged out.
