But also necessary
A cool distinction between the Classic Tetris rules, compared to modern version with holdable pieces and hard drops, is there's more compromise in how pieces are played

Since you're stuck with whatever it forces some creative problem solving

Modern Tetris is more aggressive comparatively

As a contrast to the times I do something cool, here's Popeye walking into wall forgetting that he can only go through the level with the arrows, then reversing time out of humiliation

Because I used to push it to cringey high volume degrees, I've been hesitant to post things which are slightly inappropriate or weird to my more public social media

So me posting that kind of stuff there too sometimes is a way to extend that side of me to people it may or may not click with

From a certain point of view, 'The Life and Death of Peter Sellers' and 'The Master of Disguise' aren't thematically unalike

I could see Geoffrey Rush Sellers running from something dressed as Clouseau and gradually returning to his normal accent while repeating "stop becoming another person"

I have to remember my identity is consistent, even if I'm not always proving or demonstrating it

It sometimes feels like I disappear when not occupied with steps or tasks

I don't though. Life needs to sink in sometimes and worrying about output can inhibit that

A downside of taking baths is that, after a long enough time, I have to start remembering my squatters' rights

I also like learning history because of how it highlights and amplifies our modern conveniences

It becomes easier to walk to the store when compared to a days-long trek to the nearby market town while ensuring to have enough food and money to sustain yourself and your mule

A fun thing to do while winding down in bed is to pretend you're the mattress – ideally mentally inhabiting that role while doing so

Nobody lying on you, able to be static and soft without anything being requested from the world

If you're both book smart and street smart does that make you map smart? Atlas smart? National Geographic smart?

Pretty much

That's a brilliant way of simplifying the ice cream making process

Since the big hurdle with ice cream is either the labor of constantly churning it on ice or buying an expensive ice cream maker

But flattening it out means it chills the same way without the volume needlessly bloating the prep time

The joke job for people to want back in the day was as a 'mattress tester' but there must be some Youtube or TikTok where the creator makes a career from reviewing mattresses

One thing that helps the back of the head/neck loosen is positioning them on the pillow a bit upright or vertical so it's flush with your spine

I tend to naturally bend my head a little forward on the pillow but shifting that is kinda relaxing

I only tried it once earlier but something to note

It's weird that Escape from Tomorrow was hyped as an innovative idea when Captain Eeyore trailblazed the "movie made in a theme park" subgenre 2½ decades earlier

I hope this can be found somewhere out there it sounds wonderful

Poor Takeda Shingen has to fight for space on the label of his NES game with its cheat codes

Maybe the ugliest label in its catalogue. I'd respect them cutting out the middle man of Nintendo Power if there wasn't a manual they could've put these in instead
