🚨 It looks like the UK government is gearing up to upend copyright law in favour of AI companies, legalising the theft of their work.

This is despite creatives' huge protests, and despite previous proposals being roundly rejected by the public.

Please spread the word.

Bulldozing nature policy won’t rebuild Britain.

My latest blog on the continued attack on nature from this misguided Labour government and why they are listening to the wrong advisors.

This should have been the year we turned the tide for nature. Instead, the Government appears poised to preside over the worst environmental rollback in decades.

This what we’re up against. Our essential natural world (and us who wish to defend it) portrayed as traitors and blockers.

Oh MHCLG you’ve got this so wrong.

I’ll say it again NATURE IS NOT THE REASON FOR THE HOUSING CRISIS - fix what’s really wrong and stop blaming wildlife for your failures.

The planning and infrastructure bill being rammed through parliament is a full-spectrum assault on nature protection. Rushed out, without consultation or evidence, under an “urgent measures” procedure, usually reserved for defence or public health emergency.

I condemn and call out hatred, division, lies and misinformation. The far right protests are being fuelled by Reform messaging which is coming straight from the Trump playbook. Blaming people’s fears on “others” and blaming failures in the system on “nature”. It’s the same tactic.

!! Now is the time to write to your MP if you haven’t already. The Planning Bill is deeply flawed and will lead to further damage to nature and won’t even speed up things for developers. Read my blog for the points to make.
