It’s not on the level of what Platner is accused of but I remember being so pissed off at John Edwards for potentially putting us in a situation where he was the nominee and all his shit came out during what would otherwise be the biggest layup election of my lifetime
I don’t understand how people can run for office knowing they have insane baggage and/or crimes.
Like I spent the entire campaign expecting AIPAC to somehow dig up my middle school livejournal fanfic account. I prepared my family for it. I’m still amazed it didn’t happen.
