I've been working on my #Tyranid hive fleet, Jormungandr miniatures. After painting around 30 'gaunts, I feel like I have the scheme coming along.

My infernus marines from the starter set.

First time I did that heated metal -coloring effect for the pyreblasters, and it came out surprisingly decent. At least, when I actually feared it would look terrible!

Actually forgot to do markings and heraldry. 😅

Terminator Savant (librarian) of the Frostvoid Wardens crusade fleet, leader of the Savant Spear vanguard.

I am really happy how he ended up looking, with different OSL and the runic armor.

Squad of #spacemarine terminators from the starter box. I like the idea of slightly different colors from the main force -like #darkangels have with deathwing. Just pondering, did I go too close to them with these? Oh well, I like how they turned out.

Space Marine librarian in phobos armor. Here I decided that psychic powers in my chapter are represented in magenta/pinkish light. So some OSL practice it was then.

Also, I'm thinking that my chapter calls these 'Savants' instead of librarians. Any thoughts on that?

Decided to paint something else than #spacemarines or #wh40k for a change.

So I grabbed old #heroquest box from 1990 and did a quick skeleton to a "table-top standard".

..unfortunately, 3/4 skeleton #miniatures are missing from the box.

Some neophytes/scouts painted up and slightly altered with sculpted hair or some other very minor adjustments.

I wanted to practice with skin variations a bit, and I do like how these turned out.

Spend my saturday building up all of my backlog marines -that's 22 miniatures.

Now, I was not a fan of starter set characters, so I ended up doing some very small customizations to make 'em feel my own. Now I can't wait to paint 'em!

First one was kitbashed to act as my kill team captain, second is just assault squad sarge. Third one is my sword brother to use in Black Templar combat patrol.

Mappa Mundi is actually first thing I have ever backed in kickstarter, and it definately seems and feels well worth it!

This seems to have a great attitude towards nature and adventure.

Can't wait to get some chronicles rolling!

WIP: Had a Black Templar marshall lying around, and I thought that with this amount of bling, he wasn't a good fit for my chapter as an captain. So, I did little converting, and thought he works fine as an Chaplain. Or what do you think?
