As someone who has worked with Black 8th-grade students in schools that are underfunded, I’m 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 that this woman would talk like this at all, but to do it in front of the child advocating on behalf of their peers? Shameful. #HunterCollege
The Hunter prof Allyson Friedman who made anti Black racist comments on a hot mic was placed on leave pending investigation by our President Nancy Cantor. I agree with this move: students shouldn’t be sitting in this woman’s classroom.
