Meet Daniel Flickinger.

In 2020 he was forced to resign from an Alabama law firm over a Facebook post mocking George Floyd's murder as "purely hypothetical."

He now helps run the DOJ office that polices civil-rights compliance on college campuses.

Unusually hot & dry conditions worldwide have fueled a deadly wildfire season, costing lives and destroying communities. “If these infernos don’t bring policymakers to their senses and force necessary changes to grapple with the fossil fueled climate crisis, what will?” writes UCS's Rachel Cleetus:
A World Ablaze: The Climate Future We Feared is Here - Union of Concerned Scientists
Unusually hot, dry conditions across many parts of the world—including in Algeria, Canada, France, Greece, Morocco, Spain, Tunisia, and the western United States—have set the stage for the catastrophic wildfire season underway now. Just over this weekend, rapidly spreading wildfires have exploded around Spokane, Washington, forcing nearly 65,000 people to evacuate thus far. Unrelenting hot dry weather, supercharged by climate change, is contributing to the dangerous conditions causing these fires.

The NYT obituary of Lindsey Graham makes no mention of his effort to overturn the 2020 election by calling Georgia’s secretary of state to intimidate him into manufacturing votes for Trump. The Times, like all news media, is GOP propaganda erasing Republicans’ history as election deniers

It has been criminally underreported but Kelsey Pfendler has just rowed solo across the Pacific Ocean from the US coast to Hawaii in record time. A 2,400-mile unsupported journey in 43 days, 17 hours, and 55 minutes. Notably beating the Men’s record by 9 whole days.

Kean was last in DC March 5th. No one noticed he was missing until the end of April. Since then his office has been telling us that he’ll be back to work soon.

Back to work apparently means he’s attending a DC fundraiser for himself just before Congress goes into summer recess.

I’ve always been amazed at how the Manhattan Institute gets taken so seriously by so many when it hires people like this.

I mean, this is pretty shockingly vile racism for a someone at a “respectable” think tank to spew.
