This is such a bad move. If you give MAGA the choice between a MAGA man running for office and a Dem trying to play MAGA-lite, they’ll go for the legit fascist, not the discount version. Dems trying to go right NEVER brings MAGA to them, but it alienates Dems who won’t bother showing up for this.
