He is always "playing the US citizens," that's for sure! But, I hope that there are not only "file redundancies," but that any and all changes to said files are monitored and time stamped so as to prevent internal corruption. That said, I agree, "this dance [may still be] very far from over."

To be sure, there are a number of conscious and subconscious motivations for following Trump -- but to your point, the most concerning among them is that he provides a permission structure to be unapologetically immoral, and not just devoid of empathy, but to attack the empathy held by others.

I hear you! Thing is, if it comes to light that Trump has been covering for sex traffickers, or worse, he turns out to be a pedophile, it will upend his cult's foundational belief that he is an undercover agent fighting global elite/deep-state child sex trafficking. Then it's game over.

I have my concerns about the seemingly unending stability of Trump loyalty too. But if anything will change hearts and minds, it's abusing children. Also, as for motive -- Trump is always in it for the sex, money, and most importantly, the power.

That's the thing about conspiracy theories. They offer the perfect basis for creating a cult mythos. If a hole gets poked in your original theory, you can always invent another conspiracy to plug the hole. It's never ending! 🤦
