The only relevant trolley problem for late stage capitalism: If we can take most of the wealth from one person and leave him filthy rich with like $100 mill and use the rest to 1️⃣end world hunger 2️⃣end homelessness 3️⃣change course on climate impact - Can we truly defend not doing it?
«Settlers» is a propagandistic term. Please, dear media in all of the western world, stop using it and use a a more objective term, like «occupants» or «land thiefs». Open to suggestions, but keep it rooted in the objective reality of the war in Palestine.

One of the biggest lies I learned growing up is that the «conflict» between Palestine and israel was way too complicated to have an opinion about as a non-expert.

Just hypothetically - if Trump was a Russian asset, wouldn’t going to war on Iran and doubling the oil price while lifting their sanctions be the most impactful and obvious way to help them?

The weirdest thing going on in European countries is that no government acknowledge that the US is the biggest threat to peace. The foreign policies still revolve around the Chinese and Russian threat etc. same with security threats and military focus.

How can the Republican Party survive post Trump? There are concrete examples on breaches of every single core principle conservatives have proclaimed not just without resistance but with actual support. How can it survive that? I truly hope the American people have had enough!

I don’t know what the best term for this is but USA is the first diminishing nation. Or maybe post-developed nation. 4th world country? Anyway, it’s by far my least favorite stage.

Is the existence of the UN paradoxically bad for the world? There’s obviously some good about it, but I don’t know, man. I kinda think that not having anything like the UN at all would force states to take action against the occupation of Palestine. The existence of the UN literally prevents it.

The analogies to 30’s Germany are obvious, and I hear more cautionary tales about kristallnacht and that this is where we’re heading. We don’t need to look for hidden clues, though. This shit isn’t happening behind the curtains but out in the open. Someone will arrange «kristallnacht»… 1/2

I look forward to a day when the ICE agents who abduct people on behalf of the rogue government will go to prison for their many obvious crimes. If the US is heading for progress though, this won’t cause a blowout in the prison-industrial complex. So maybe finally a large scale pardon… 1/2

Not that any of us were wondering, but now that absurd payment package 2.0 has passed for Musk, any doubt whatsoever on whether Tesla is a company rooted in any economic metric or if they’re following the economics of a straight-up cult should be laid to rest.

Gaza will be stolen from the Palestinians. Gaza is sufficiently bombed and destroyed for a deal to be made. Now the US and Israel can make sure that they will be able to rebuild Gaza in their name. Ending suffering is great. But this will be another land grab and a large step in the ethnic cleansing

If we were to learn anything from the failed game theory of the Cold War, the international community needs to agree to avoid an AI arms race before the escalation spirals out of control like it did with the nukes.
