I’m playing Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave very slowly. I figure I won’t see another one for quite some time and the way that game is rushing through it will just make me hate it. Who knows if I will finish it. I love Fire Emblem but this one has rubbed me the wrong way so far.

I’ve been playing The Blood of Dawnwalker and it is incredible. The atmosphere is off the charts. I love the directional block combat it works really well though can be overwhelming at times. This game seems really replayable as well.

It’s fucking lame they will not put Daredevil on the big screen. Why not? Is it because he is too cool and way better than any other MCU hero?

I beat DuskFade over the weekend. It’s a pretty fun throwback indie PS2 era action platformer. It nails the platforming controls perfectly. Combat wise it’s a bit rough around the edges something that could be improved in a sequel. It’s got a great art style.

I feel like Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave is 80% bullshit chores and 20% what you are actually there for the damn tactic battles…

Why are all gaming conversations now fucking dumb as fuck and half or more are horny idiots that cannot get their dick out of their hand?

Walking around town in Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave.
Everyone: Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, HELLO
Me: SHUT THE FUCK UP!

Also I gotta say Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave has way too much extra bloat crap you gotta do in between the main battles. That is a major issue…

I started Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave but no idea if I will beat it this year or not. It is really really long and I have to balance that and other things. That said idk what all I am gonna get to by the end of the year but it won’t be everything I want to. Too much at once.

I beat Cultic (all episodes). It was a damn good “boomer shooter”. It’s horror themed and has a unique art style. I think chapter 1 is good but chapter 2 is great and where the game really shines. If you like these kinda games like me check it out!

I beat Wolverine. It was a damn good time for a Marvel fan and a big Wolverine fan. I will say the story stuff at the end I did not like. The combat is really fun and the graphics are amazing. It’s the right length for the kinda game it is. For me I’d probably give it 8/10.

I beat Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. The art and music was awesome. The story was ok but nothing compared to the first 2 games. The gameplay was subpar imo. Not much stealth besides hiding from a creature and parry combat. Doesn’t leave the same impression as the first 2.

I beat Onimusha Way of the Sword over the weekend. It’s very much a modernization of the old games to a degree. Overall I really enjoyed it. It’s got great combat some of the best fights you will have in video games. It feels great to fight and the characters are very likable.

Hermen Hulst and let’s face it all of PlayStation leadership needs removed at this point. So pathetic.

PlayStation let Xbox steal PHYSINT away from them. Let that sink in for you. How far they have fallen. Complete clowns.

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake might be the most incredible remake I have ever seen!

I’m really looking forward to Wolverine later this month. I’ve waited a long time for it. I just love that character and hack and slash gameplay is something we don’t get enough of these days. Especially big budget.

Now I’m playing Onimusha Way of the Sword. As a long time series fan let’s see how I feel once I’m done. It’s crazy we got a new Onimusha game so glad to have it be a thing.

I beat Onimusha Dawn of Dreams (PS2). It’s my least liked of the series and the NA version has a lot of issues the Japanese doesn’t that makes it way harder and more grindy experience. It’s an action rpg with a full party but the game itself suffers from a lot of design choices.

This week I beat Onimusha 3 my favorite of the series! Incredible graphics, great story and characters, super fun gameplay. It was great to revisit it and use my retrotink!

The fact that sites that used to do credible journalism is reporting on a obviously fake rumor about game discs with no source shows you how far gaming news outlets have fallen. Truly pathetic.

Here is a random one. I beat Achilles: Legends Untold. I started it after seeing The Odyssey back in July. It was a fun action rpg with too much souls influence. Whatever story but fun big level progression system, fun gear upgrades and fairly fun combat. It’s average but good.
August 24, 2026 at 2:13 AM
I beat Big Hops this week and let me tell you this game rules. If you like PS2 era 3D Platformers with really nice graphics this is one to check out. The controls are super responsive and the entire adventure is a blast. Great cool mechanics throughout! Plus you get to be a frog!

I finished the Halo Remake. It was ok, I would recommend playing the original or the Master Chief collection versions over the remake. Because it changes voices, dialogue, enemies and various other things I really feel like didn’t contribute to the remake positively.

Dawnwalker not offering a 60fps mode is the perfect reason why sticking with console in an all digital timeline is pointless. At least if you have the means to get the parts or already have the parts on PC, games will always be at least 60fps.
