What’s your opinion on the immediate resurrection of Magneto in Excalibur (v3?) following Morrison’s New X-Men? Is it inevitable corporate interference on a legacy character? Claremont using his gravitas to undo characterization he didn’t like? A good opportunity for the character? Something else?

Oh Gosh, Oh Golly, Oh Wow was hosted by three collegiate academics analyzing every issue of Excalibur, and it remains one of my favorites! Graymalkin Lane is queer focused and covers the early stuff Jay and Miles sped through, and X-Men Horoscopes is great to get to know X-adajacent folks!

Both a great review, and a description of some shit child me would eat tf up, so I don’t feel bad for all the millennials guys I’ve said, “oh this one’s great” to at my job (I say that about every movie I remotely recognize, tbf. Half of retail feels like I’m a live action sensory video for adults)
