All three CSA corps unleashing their artillery, which was effectively answered from Cemetary ridge by the Union, and the relative overweight of rifled artillery made the CSA bombardment on the north side of the battlefield seem like a futile gesture.

And so our battle of Gettysburg 2. day begins. The scenario was set up by Martin Cleemann Rasmussen. Figure scale 1:20, terrain 1:2000. Figures 6mm mix of Turner, Adler and Baccus. Troops deployed historically for 15.00, with rules for friction in releasing all but Longstreets corps.

A wonderful little book on all the non battle stuff that impeded the French armies. A main culprit is to heavy privatization of logistics compared to Prussia and Austria - seems like governments never learn😟
