I was out of town last weekend and returned with a head cold, so I’m kind of drowning in produce.

I genuinely don’t know how to use most of these peppers, so I’ve been dicing and freezing them and adding them to a “Spicy peppers!!” freezer bag to use a tiny bit of whenever a recipe calls for jalapeños.

It also does not help that both my kitchen in general and my pantry in particular are kind of a mess at the moment.

Maybe I'll do the dishes and then see if I need to escalate into a pantry reorganization.

And today’s haul is a big one! I’ve got all sorts of fruit this week:

I made a farmstyle ratatouille and froze it in half cup servings because I’ve got to preserve some of this somehow. Today I used that, some pasta sauce, and fresh pasta to make a very filling lunch:
