Weirdly I've used the switch 2 more in the 4+ months I've owned it than I ever used the switch in its lifespan. I think it's just a difference in the time I have available now but I also think the enhanced games have been a big factor. Now I'm playing FFXIV on it, so the hours just keep going up!

Crazy in 2 years he won't even be able to hold a new PlayStation game in his hands.

The analogue pocket is a work of art, I’m glad I finally picked one up. The amount of itch.io gameboy games out there to try is equally exciting, I already enjoyed this horror game I ran through last night.

gotta be this guy, mostly because there was no deadline and I took my time over months to pick at it...even then procreate only clocks it at around 40 active hours (I'd round it up to 50 sighin and thinkin)

I hadn’t updated here. I have a baby boy in the world. Arrived 4 weeks early and have us quite a scare, requiring an emergency C-section. He’s our miracle baby boy. Hes 4 days old now and he’s thriving. I can’t believe I’m a DAD

Watching Takopi with my social work lens has made the experience even more impactful. I appreciate how raw the material is and how brazen it is with the degree of hopelessness the characters feel. How toxic positivity can have negative implications despite good intentions. It’s gonna sit with me.

BREAKING: As part of today's cuts, Xbox has canceled the troubled Rare game Everwild, according to people familiar. News on the job cuts is coming in drips — not sure why Xbox didn't announce it all at once — but I'll report what I can as I confirm it.
