So I tried to create a cute bubble bath cactus planter but then it grew a grotesque face and surplus appendages (including a penis) and put on ruby slippers and the penis flowered and now I'm somehow explaining a gender-defying cactus to my kids and nobody wants to tour my garden anymore.🌱*

There is no need to buy a whole plant from a garden center. You can buy a few sprigs from the grocery store and put them in a jar with water in a sunny place. They'll grow roots.
