Got my ears pierced for the first time today and boy was it awkward standing in line for it while the 3 female 17 year old girls in front of me had to phone mommy and daddy to ask for permission to get it done 😭

Yeah it's been a whirlwind of a year but I'm relaxed for the first time in months now. Crazy how much e-mails can mess with you.

I really miss the discount Italian supermarket I visited in Aosta one year ago. Bought a really miserable looking sandwich to eat during a hike and it ended up being one of the best sandwiches of my life. Same with their pizza slices. Italy just does food so well man 😭

First trial run: 1 minor thing needed improvement
Second trial run: 1 minor thing and one semi big thing needed improvement
Final exam: Everything was perfect except my meat was dry, my roasted potatoes were black and my sauce was grainy 🙈🙄

Found an obviously abandoned pregnant cat in the local park with my evening doggy walk and my heart just hurts so much right now 😭 The way she practically ran to me for cuddles and started purring loudly when she saw I had noticed her. 😭

Wednesday morning, I began my final apprenticeship exam for my nutritional culinary course. I was given pork loin as my main protein and hospitalised teenagers as my target group.
I slept maybe 4 hours total between Wednesday and Friday but it's done, and Thursday next week I'll know how I did 🙈

Just realised I can shop for new nail polish soon as I'll get a 4 month break from the kitchen work soon.
It's such a tiny thing but I cannot wait to have pretty nails again, if only for a little while 🥹

🫠 My black cat Sammy has now discovered the road and entered his rebellious phase (a little delayed as he's now 15 months old) and my heart is in my throat. I thought he was just a good and very cowardly little boy, but no, he's just mentally slow.

Currently in hysterics cause a massive farm spider just fell on my face while I was in bed trying to cool myself down 😭 I THOUGHT THEY HAD LEARNED TO STAY AWAY FROM MY BEDROOM. The noises I made were inhuman.

Half of my class had their final exam today (mine is in August). The student that has continually had a near failing grade during the entire course, due to her very bad language skills, managed to get a C 🥹 I'm so happy for this lady, we all had a little proud cry session together afterwards.

Went to a Pokemon TCG event today. Event could have been organised A LOT BETTER (they ran out of the most popular sets 10 minutes before the doors officially opened 🥴) but I did at least manage to catch this blindbox Gengar figure that's been on my wishlist since it came out. He's so funky.

Went to a Pokemon TCG event today. Event could have been organised A LOT BETTER (they ran out of the most popular sets 10 minutes before the doors officially opened 🥴) but I did at least manage to catch this blindbox Gengar figure that's been on my wishlist since it came out. He's so funky.
Finally found the OG Pokemon card and sticker collection I shared with my sis when we were kids!!!
What's crazy is they are in near mint condition despite having been stored in a bin bag for like 25 years, but most importantly, the VHS promo cards are still there!! I thought they were gone forever.

Sprinted through poison ivy cause I thought I heard a panicked cry from one of the cats but then that same cat just kinda waltzed over to me right after with an aura that had a certain "wassup bitch" to it

First time Sammy hasn't come running after I've called his name (at least 100 times). I know he's alive but I can't help but worry anyway.
I call him an idiot quite a lot cause he's the most unintelligent cat I have ever had but I love him more than words can imagine and I miss him right now 🥺
