Go out and pay for a subscription for a newspaper or media outlet you enjoy, if you can afford to. All days but especially today. Journalism is a very rough business and shrinking. But journalists do work that help their communities or to understand their communities, and many places depend on subs.

I was proud to be there with Brian and his wife yesterday in court along with many others.
Really proud of Pastor Hannah and so many others who were present in Broadview today offering the body and blood of Christ to those detained. They were turned away but God’s table is large enough where no one will ever ultimately be denied.

I called in to schedule a routine colonoscopy last summer and the person gave me Feb. 10 as a date so I shrugged and said ok, not realizing it was the day before the Super Bowl. So instead of wings and pizza I have super bowel prep happening today.
