Fair enough. I don't think it's inexplicable, though. The middlebrow bourgeois audience would NOT have been happy with Lasso blazing a trail of destruction with his delusional optimism.

Fairly straightforward. It's not about AES per se, though. Carlson's gambit is that he can be toe-over-the-line antisemitic in a way that no Dem ever would, and *Piker* will split with the 2028 Dem party entirely, and endorse Carlson. This could fracture the left + cement the red-brown alliance.
