The champions league is a scam, a cartel to keep the rich clubs rich, cemented permanently at the top of respective domestic leagues, preventing any sustained challenge by other teams. A de facto super league. Smash the UCL, bring back cup knockout from Rnd 1, share money fairly

Trump’s cheerleaders on the UK right - including politics and the media - now have a decision to make as Trump predictably embraces Putin and throws Ukraine and democratic Europe under a bus. I saw this coming … why didn’t these hard right clowns?

The Champions League is a scam, a cartel designed to keep the rich clubs rich and prevent any sustained challenge. It also distorts domestic leagues. Scrap the champions league and return to a European knock-out cup format.
How did Manchester City earn €4.7m more than Aston Villa in Champions League group stage? | Philippe Auclair
The revamped competition was supposed to ‘sustain domestic leagues’ but the sums involved are more likely to distort European football even further

The thing is, hunts were given a chance. Carry on riding your horses across other people’s land, blocking roads and causing chaos. Just don’t deliberately kill animals. A law so full of holes and they still flout it because they can. They had their chance and blew it - so ban all hunting now.
