I would like to point out that players do not have to accept their QOs. Teams can negotiate smaller contracts after having tendered QOs. The QO just prevents a RGA from becoming a UFA on July 1st.

Everyone is so negative. Drew a team that was a Stanley cup favourite. A veteran team. One with a top player, an MVP candidate, and arguably the best goalie in the league. This series is even. Not one game was a blowout. We never know who’s gonna win. We took two of three in Tampa.

Hage grew up a Hans fan. It was his father’s favourite team. Playing for the #gohabsgo is a dream of his. The fact that he’s going back to Michigan changes none of that. He’ll play for the Habs. Just not this year.
