It's no better if you have kids! I'm not even trying to date, but hypothetically if I was, people without kids would tend to not want kids - let alone several of someone else's. And people who already have kids are done having them and don't suddenly want to have 4-6 in total between them.

Definitely not. These are 2.0 High Speed, so 4K60, but no 120 Hz or 5/6/8K support.

If I ever wonder whether casualties equal fatalities, I remember how Captain Picard said "casualties were light" at the end of Star Trek Generations when talking about the Enterprise D crash. He wouldn't be so flippant about deaths, so casualties must also mean injuries.

Not this project, but fans have added speech over top of PC WC1 which never had speech to begin with, so overall the community is doing a lot more than swapping out files.

This is the part that sold me though. Watching a friend do space combat with Star Trek ships made me intensely envious. All of the technical issues aside, it put you on the bridge shooting phasers. It’s up there with the NES/Game Boy Star Trek TNG game, which was also very tedious but amazing.

Okay, but some of the best strings of episodes in the franchise are build-ups to huge confrontations with the Borg, Dominion, Xindi, etc. Even the "episodic" Star Trek series managed to weave them in here and there.

That’s ridiculous though since it’s already been 1.5 almost years since S2 premiered and they haven’t even started shooting S3 yet. This article says summer 2027 is the optimistic release date, which is 2.5 years compared to the prior 3 year gap. That’s not “much sooner.” They’ve already missed that
