When it comes to Utah politicians’ impact on national politics, one of the most dubious contributions is Sen. Reed Smoot’s Smoot-Hawley Tariff. Protectionism didn’t work in 1930 (something that was obvious to everyone but Smoot), and it won’t work now. But we are so determined to learn zero lessons.

Finally getting around to listening to Body Work by Melissa Febos and I am in agony in the best way.
I cannot recommend this book hard enough to anyone who is healing from trauma and also writes in any form.
