I also really didn't expect to like them together and my first time pairing them was an experiment, but I dig their supports and how they don't/can't bullshit one another. It's strikes me as very sweet in its own way.

I did not want to love them but I do. Dorothea will both keep House Von Aegir in esteem, on it's toes, and make sure the prime minister stays humble. In turn, he worships her, and I love that for them both.

I feel like Linhardt learns how one can truly reach nap-vana in hammock on a tropical beach when he marries this wonderful woman. When she lets him. She ain't running that kingdom all on her own, consorts gotta earn their keep and I think Linhardt would be happy with that.

I won't lie, this started as another they both annoy me, so they can get stuck with each other, ship, but they've genuinely grown on me. They've seen each other at their lowest, know each other's darkest secrets and parts, and that is beautiful.

I just... I just like 'em. He's incorrigible, she's shy and going on a healing journey. They both develop independently and grow so I love the idea that they can heal and fall in love when they're their best selves.

As someone who LOATHES incest, faux or otherwise, my love of this pairing surprised me. To be fair, they don't know that they're step-siblings and did not grow up together with any familial bonding. Also to be fair, them giving into their crush would have solved SO. MANY. Problems!

This one has been my personal favorite for quite some time. The armored boots, the gauntlets, the sleeves, the cape, the windswept hair, and her stance just ALL of it. Prepose did a fantastic job.

This redesign by Sethkiel is mostly just remeshing Male Byleth’s gear to Female Byleth, but you know what? Still. Better. Also, beautiful, beautiful, work. I love the fiery glow against midnight with that pop of her vibrant hair.
