I know I don’t talk comics much here, but ABSOLUTE SUPERMAN #23 was fantastic this week.

1000+ scientists worked together to build two giant successful nutrino detecting devices underwater.

100 senators can’t agree that healthcare shouldn’t bankrupt people.

But tell me again about how ineffective science is between criticizing Fauci for both faking COVID and causing Covid deaths.

The idea that the vice president’s take on watergate are:

A) Watergate was no big deal.
B) Nixon was a victim of Deep State persecution.

Is either ignorance of history, gaslighting or a lack of ethical values.

Let me get this straight … the Knicks had less paints than the Spurs, but then “found” more points right at the end?

This has been a fun few weeks. Anyone else have Mark Twain’s War Prayer running through their heads lately?

So, I am always so enthralled with every #OkGo music video because they’re always so innovative. But when I just listen to their music without the video I lose interest. I wish that I had listened to them before seeing them because now their music is so tied to the visual it lets me down without it.

I find it cute that reporting on insider trading occurring just before Trump announces something is being treated as having a “heads up” for normal government action and not that the Trump administration is crafting announcements to manipulate the stock market.

Does anyone else get a Golgafrincham vibe when tech bros talk about leaving the planet?

It seems weird people don’t still know that you need to follow the money. Billions in tarriffs, tariff debt sold for Pennie’s on the dollar. Refund the tarriff now that the Supreme Court ruled them unconstitutional … who benefits? Lutnick at least has a company that will make billions.

Artificial = Not Real

Ai is Not Real Intelligence.

But when you start down that road, how intelligent are we? And how real?

Because I’ve known some people …

I found this organization on my Facebook today. I’m glad that their mascot makes the air quotes gesture because not even they believe in ghosts. #wyomingvalleyghosttours

The greatest generation saw how bad it could be and built their kingdom to give everyone at least some comfort and secure, and a better future for the boomers, who spent the last thirty years building moats and pulling up drawbridges to keep the rest of us out.

Seems obvs that after the Epstein vote the DOJ will announce an investigation of all of it, and therefore can’t release any documents because it would bias a jury.

On the one hand, I am skeptical that Republicans will address the looming healthcare crisis.

On the other hand, is negotiating the CR so people have food and jobs through January a worthwhile trade off?

If the Republicans lied again, the fight can begin again in January.

Also, Epstein files.

I made this cartoon in ai because I got tired of explaining it to people on Facebook. Lol

Government and institutions and laws are man-made, and the rules and laws and guidelines can be ignored the same way you can blow through a stop sign if you so choose.

If he only limit is punishment for breaking the rules. Once that is minimized for someone there are no laws for that person.

If the say they are against antifa(cist), they are for or ok with fascism. If they are against “no kings” they are for or ok with dictatorship.

I hear the “no kings” detractors call the protesters crazy or dumb — I don’t hear them saying they’re against dictatorship.

I think May exposure during my early adulthood to Monty Python, Kurt Vonnegut, the Hitchhiker’s guide to the Galaxy and all of Terry Pratchett prepared me for the absurdity of current events.

Who doesn’t use ChatGPT and think of the Sirius Cybernetic Corp?

Are you mad about something you read on the internet? Like boiling with rage?

Take a minute to make sure it’s true.

That helps in two ways - it confirms the issue and it gives you a minute to focus on research - which moderately reduces stress.

Hey! You with the interesting premise question who leaves all the details in their linked video that’s an hour to watch…I’m not watching then. I’m here for the discussions and I’m blocking you.

It’s not a coincidence that the bill was forced to a vote before congress takes their big beautiful vacation. Imagine if it was after they were back in their districts mixing with the constituency before they voted to screw them.

The United States began in 1776, making the country 249 years old - on the 4th of July. (Let’s not quibble specifics).

The parade was for the army’s 250th anniversary founding.

So this isn’t the US Army’s anniversary (1784) .. just for having a non-British army?
