Made 10 year old me so happy last night and finally watched “The Color of Money”. Some initial thoughts:
~Absolutely loved the ending. Thought it was perfect
~61 year old Paul Newman could get it
~Somehow the sunglasses made him even sexier

My sense of humor is so dark sometimes that I have to rethink posting conversations with my husband that made me and/or both of us laugh because when seeing it written down I realize it’s probably only funny to us and might make him seem awful when he’s actually perfect for me.

Saw the new Little Mermaid last night. There were some things I liked about it. Some things, I was meh about. But it was overly long, and I didn’t love the new songs (they were ok). I did like that Price Eric also got an “I want” song, along with other parallels between him and Ariel.

I am going to miss Ted Lasso. I don’t remember the last time I was this sad to see a show end. I know all stories end, and I wouldn’t want it to go on without a plan/purpose, so, while I’m sad it’s almost over, I’m choosing to be grateful it exists at all. #RichmondTilWeDie

Watched the new D&D movie last night. Every time they said Baldur’s Gate, I giggled. But when Michelle Rodriguez opened THAT chest??? Friend, I nearly fell out of my chair. Poor husband thought I was nuts.

I have a night to myself tonight while my husband bowls (he joined a league). Trying to come up with what movie to watch. Time to hit up JustWatch while the kid jumps in her new trampoline.

It occurred to me this morning at breakfast that the difference between fan service and pandering is simply a matter of whether or not you’re one of the fans being serviced.

I am so overly excited for this. Good Omens is my favorite book of all time, and I wholeheartedly adored season one. I am all for more Tennant and Sheen in these roles. They’re absolute magic.
