80% of Americans were against interracial marriage when it was legalized nationwide. Was that a mistake too?

You're going to lose. You will end up in the same garbage can as the morons who opposed racial equality.

Maybe stand for the Liberty and Freedom of trans people?

Or retire and let someone less fascist run in your place?

Fleetwood Mac owes you some percentage of the streaming revenue they are gonna make when I listen to this 5 times in a row.

If you want to experience true madness, look into SAFE (Scaled Agile). Its truely awful.

The TPS probably: "We are making immediate plans to sew officers front pockets shut to ensure they won't be able to fill them with bribes. To do this we will need a 15% budget increase and 200 more cameras placed in strategic locations outside our ex-wives houses."

This version reads out the names of the games in your Hidden folder on Steam.

"Ahhh I see you like HuniePop 2: Double Date, don't you?"
September 17, 2026 at 10:02 AM
That's allowed, encouraged even, but by talking about it you've just earned yourself 20 strikes and a 2 month ban.

I imagine it's a pretty sweet gig to work at Bluesky. Sleep till noon, online by 1:15. Ask Claude "how make website better?". Send an email. Take a long lunch. Like and then dislike a few NSFW posts. Post for a few hours about how you're gonna ban trans flags and watermelon emojis. Living the life.

Ok I've invented time travel I've decided to prevent some of the greatest tragedies in history:

1. Make sure Hitler gets into art school, thus preventing the Holocaust.

2. Save Ashlee Simpsons career.

"Just because I choose not to speak publicly, it doesn't mean I don't have my own opinions" sounds like what an angsty teen would tell their supportive teacher who is asking them why they don't speak up more in class.

Not wanting a transphobic candidate isn't asking for perfection.
September 15, 2026 at 12:07 PM
I am arguing against what Stancil has said and his approach to this entire discourse, which why I replied to his comment in the first place.
September 14, 2026 at 8:45 PM
Again, do you think this is going to convince anyone? How are you doing anything but hurting your own cause?

Also in the same way that the world doesn't owe you, trans people don't owe you or the Dems either.
September 14, 2026 at 8:34 PM
Do you think telling that to a bunch of frustrated people who are feeling betrayed is a good strategy to win them back?

If your goal is "Dems must win", then a strategy of scolding a bunch of people probably wont help make that happen. It's a bad use of a platform.
September 14, 2026 at 7:38 PM
I don't agree with how Stancil has handled any of this, but to be fair to him, he did reply to that post at the time with "And I want to be clear that I think Talarico seems great. Like, really great. I understand why he’s saying this."

There's plenty to critique, but he has been pretty consistent
September 14, 2026 at 7:22 PM
From a "Talarico must win" perspective this doesn't seem like a winning strategy.

It just feels like almost all this energy from the "Blue No Matter Who" crowd would be better spent if it were directed at the transphobic candidates to try and get them to course correct.
September 14, 2026 at 7:01 PM
Do you think this is a helpful arguement? Do you imagine that calling a bunch of people insane for not wanting to vote for a transphobe, is going to convince anyone to vote for Talarico? If anything, I imagine it pushes people away.
September 14, 2026 at 7:01 PM
Literally no one said "Jewish conspiracy", you made that up.
September 14, 2026 at 4:54 PM
"I will oppose black men sharing buses with white women if it risks safety"

It's a bullshit weasel word that works on the assumption that these bigots might actually have a valid point. It accepts their framing as valid, instead of as the bigoted shit it is.
September 14, 2026 at 4:39 PM
Talarico may want to revise his statements then, since he what he said was that he'd vote for a ban on GAS for minors and that he will "oppose trans athletes playing in girls’ sports if it risks safety or fairness".
September 14, 2026 at 4:27 PM
Anyone supporting health care restrictions or sports bans is supporting rollbacks, which is what Talarico is doing.
September 14, 2026 at 4:20 PM
What the transphobic Dem candidates are suggesting is a rollback of progress, removing rights that already existed, it's incremental regression.
September 14, 2026 at 2:07 PM
One of the major points of the Good Friday Agreement, the agreement that ended the Troubles, was to create a legal pathway for reunification, provided that a majority of people on both sides consented to it. A compromise that stopped the fighting, and should prevent it from starting up again.
September 14, 2026 at 1:20 PM
They can change their stance, they can walk it back, they can actually support trans people. And if they do, they will probably win back voters.
