I’ve been watching a lot of live video cam of bears fishing on the river in Alaska and was inspired to make this fat bear sculpture 🐻🐟😋

One of my favorite photos I took in Katmai last week is this one of a protective mama bear and her three spring cubs walking on the beach early in the morning.

#mammals 🐻
she faces the camera with three cubs looking toward me, one partially hidden behind her back leg, one almost completely hidden behind her raised paw, and a third in front of her belly. It is shot wide so you can see the lake in the foreground and the mountains in the background.
