Hi I'm CJ. You may remember me from the internet in the early 2000s. I've been cryogenically frozen since then, which is why I dropped off from the webcomic world. Not because I'm lazy, depressed and disillusioned. Here, have a mushroom I drew for my wife. Maybe I'll post more art later.

The number of incredibly rich actors and directors who aren't funding at least one 5-10 million dollar movie a month, to pay it forward or even just for fun because they wanna see cool stuff tailored just to their own tastes, is absolutely stunning.
Getting a bit tired of very rich actors and directors saying ‘AI is here we have to learn how to use it’ instead of ‘I am wealthy enough to dedicate myself only to projects which employ talented human beings because anything else is an existential threat to human storytelling’

Started seeds and I'm so happy things are sprouting. I have, so far, 15 snap pea, 6 cucumbers, 2 luffas and 1 thai basil. The basil and tomatoes were planted a week after the other seeds and the luffa and cucumbers I think got into by birds on the first night.

I'm eating at a pizzaria that is a literal trademark infringement. The name is a Disney movie, the decor, all from that movie, the name of the pizzas: characters from that movie (mostly) I am amazed it has never caught the mouse's attention.

The worm I got my wife for Christmas has shown up at mom's house. She filmed opening it and was delighted. Made me a little less depressed to hear her laugh when she unwrapped him.

Wednesday I called my ISP to tell them I was having an outage. Had to leave a message. My internet came back on about 20 minutes later. Forgot about it soon after.
I just got a call asking if my ticket for the internet outage had been resolved. It's Saturday.

My wife flies down with Pepper tomorrow so she can drive to Seattle next week to collect the sheep shipment. Then the wife comes home but pepper will stay down there. I won't see Pepper again until the end of September and it hurts my soul.

my old wacom bamboo is now unsupported and you can't even get old drivers anymore, works perfectly (even in windows 11).
