I play in community bands. Some now question if they should keep playing patriotic shows. I say yes - play for love of sharing music to uplift others - for the country and flag that veterans fought to defend so long ago, & to support unifying the country again some day in peace and compassion.

Time to ramp up calls to congress and reps! I use the app 5calls - it makes it super easy, even provides suggested scripts to use, and gives you names and their phone numbers, based on the location you enter.

note to those 50 and over: CDC has just lowered the approval age to getting the pneumonia vaccine from 65 to 50. If at all possible, get PCV20 or PCV21 and not PCV15, so you don't have to go back a year later for a 2nd vaccine.
