Trump has orders that American Flags be flown at half-mast until Sept 14, to honor Charlie Kirk. That's five days.
I want to point out that the Flag Code (4 US Code §7) specifies 30 days for a president (or ex-), 10 days for a VP, Chief Justice, or Speaker, and 2 days for a Member of Congress.

The National Guard of a state can only legally be called up with permission of the governor.
Can Governor Newsom, as commander of the CA National Guard, declare that the CA Guard will not impose disciplinary actions on guardsmen who refuse to deploy when called up without that authority?

That money - a budget surplus - should either:
-reduce the deficit, or
-reduce the need to cut so much this year.
Same with the tariffs.
Show us the balance sheets.
